LAMEEM began in Saudi Arabia with one refusal: that modest dress should ever mean settling for less. Every piece is designed here, checked by hand, and shipped from our own warehouse so it reaches you in days.
A house built by hand
I started LAMEEM because I could not find what I was looking for. Abayas that hung well after the third wear. Fabric that stayed matte in the heat. A hem cut for a real height, not an average one. What existed was either beautiful and unaffordable, or affordable and gone within a season.
So we built the house we wanted to shop from. Every silhouette is drawn and fitted here in Saudi Arabia, on real bodies, in real days — walked in, prayed in, driven in, sat through a long lunch in. If a sleeve rides up or a seam presses, it goes back to the pattern table. It has gone back many times.
You will not find my face on this page, and that is deliberate. This was never meant to be a personality. What I would rather show you is the sewing floor, the inspection table, the tissue and the seal, and the moment the box leaves our hands — because that is where the promise is actually kept.

Four things we will not compromise
These are the rules the atelier is held to. They are the reason some pieces take longer to release than we would like.
Woman-owned, woman-led
Founded and run by women in Saudi Arabia. The people deciding how an abaya should fall are the people who wear one every day.
Fabric before everything
We buy cloth before we draw a silhouette. If it goes shiny in the heat, shows light, or loses its drape after a wash, the design never happens.
Checked, not sampled
Every single piece is inspected before it is folded — not one in fifty. Seams, hems, buttons, press, and the fall of the sleeve.
Days, not months
Stock sits ready in our own warehouse rather than with a third party overseas, so orders leave quickly and arrive tracked.

On the sewing floor
Cut and sewn to one standard
Every piece is made to the same specification whether it is the first of a run or the last. Stitch density, seam allowance, the way a sleeve is set — these are written down, and they do not move when an order is large or a week is short.

The inspection table
Checked before it is ever folded
Each finished piece is inspected individually, not sampled by the batch. Seam strength, hem finish, button and press-stud alignment, colour consistency across panels, and the final press. Anything that fails is pulled — it is never quietly shipped.

Wrapping and sealing
Folded and wrapped by hand
Pieces are folded along the seam, never across the front, so they arrive without a crease down the middle. Each one is wrapped in tissue and closed with our seal. No plastic sleeves, no bulk bagging, no piece touching another.

The courier collects from us directly rather than from a third-party hub, so there is one fewer place for a parcel to sit. Tracking is sent the moment it is handed over — not the moment it is scanned two days later.

The atelier and every quality decision sit in Saudi Arabia. The stock sits in a warehouse we run ourselves in the United States — packed, labelled and waiting — rather than with a third party who has never seen the product.

Our own storage and fulfilment floor. Orders are picked, packed and handed to the courier the same or next working day, tracked from the moment they leave us.
